BIBLE STUDY & WORSHIP  (Through the year)

Discerning the Voice of God (6 sessions)

Description:  Discerning the voice of God provides participants with practical help in knowing what you hear is from God.  Through this study you will become more familiar with God's Holy Spirit, His character, language and tone of voice.  No blessing surpasses a relationship with God
in which you know when He is specifically called to you.  The more intimate your relationsip
with Him, the clearer God's voice becomes.

FAITH

Fall Semester  Begins Sunday, October 5, 2008
Due to Hurricane Ike, we will have 9 weeks instead of 12 weeks in our FAITH Semester. Our Sunday nights will reflect the priority of Making GOD Known.  Two different levels of participation
are offered for adults.

FAITH I - For first-time FAITH participants.  Bro. Barry leads the first hour helping you to learn what FAITH is all about.  The second hour is spent with your team.  Each person is assigned to a team of three consisting of a leader and two others.  The team will go out and make visits (not the first week) with the Team Leader conducting the visit and the other two
team members praying as they go.  Only when the team members feel comfortable, will they
be asked to share during the visit - perhaps a Sunday School testimony, or their own personal testimony.  No one will ever be put on the spot or made to feel uncomfortable.

FAITH II - For returning FAITH participants.  During the first hour, Bro. Randal Whitt will train the group on a different topic each semester. Each participant will be a member of a team of three and will go out visiting, led by their Team Leader, during the second hour.

Celebration Time - Following the ACT classes and the FAITH witnessing visits, everyone is encouraged to gather in the Sanctuary after the Sunday evening service for a time of celebration.  The FAITH teams give reports on their visits.  What a wonderful time of sharing what the Lord is doing.

Beth Moore Bible Study - When Godly People do Ungodly Things:  Arming Yourself
in the Age of Seduction (7 sessions)

Description: This study examines why devoted followers of Christ can fall into the traps of Satan.  We as believers are still subject to Satan's attacks - often more so than non-believers.  He is determined to disrut the lives of Christians, destroy their ministry, and
steal their joy.  Sadly, those that have "fallen" may not recognize the devil's schemes until they have already been caught in a snare of defeat.  This study was written as a Biblical guide to authentic repentence and restoration.
